Chandramukhi

What if Sachin or Shewag scores a century without a single four or six. This feeling you get after seeing the movie Chandramukhi. Yes, Superstar Rajinikanth had performed so quiet & calm that you get the above feeling. The movie is good & enough to be a successful one. All the characters including Rajini's have been done well. The story of the movie is the hero & not Rajini. Rajini has performed as an character in the movie & no heroics with hsh..hsh sounds. He has done so calm, that only for 2-3 frames you can see the usual Rajini. After that he is yet another character in the movie. For fervid fans of Rajini, this movie wouldn't provide the enough stuff. They expect a lot more from Rajini. The heroism, Punch dialogues, villan clashes nothing of that sort. One major plus point is Rajini really looks young & smart. The costumes for him are excellent & looks pretty.

Another important person to be mentioned is Jothika. She has done a decent role & would be one of her career milestones. The comedy has come out well. But in some scenes light smell of double meaning jokes would peep up, which is unusal in Rajini movie. Every movie of Rajini starts with an intro song. But this time he has broken it, the movie starts with a fight sequence. May be due to long gap, Rajini did not have the usual grip & vibrant body language.

The zeal to watch a good movie would be satisfied. But a ardor to watch Rajini in action may not be fully satisfied. The expections for the movie is more & high on Rajini. May due to which you would come out with happiness on seeing a good movie but not the vivacious Rajini.

Each song has come out really good with nice camera works. The movie has come out well & its a great film to watch. The movie is for family audience. Though the movie is not Rajini centric, still after a long gap this movie would be a great one for him & his audience. One good thing is Rajini is back. This is a great news for his fans. Expecting a lot more & different roles from Rajini. lakalakalakalakala... ;-)
